Change State Indicator
The seminal work of Clare W Gaves on the propensity to adapt new value systems / thinking structures is uniquely described by the Change State Indicator. This Instrument uniquely describes different change states namely Alpha, Beta, Gamma, Delta and New Alpha. It furthers studies whether we a person solve problems from within or without as described by First and Second Order Change. Further, it describes whether a person make sense of life conditions by creating Order and or Chaos and to which degree worldviews are fluid. It forms a critical part of the Psychological Map, the original tool that conceptualise WORLDVIEWS or CODES as postulated by Don E Beck. Loraine E Laubscher created South African norm groups for this instrument over 40 years of research.

Psychological Map
The Psychological Map is deeply anchored in the Spiral Dynamics as described by Don E Beck. It uniquely describes WORLDVIEW by anchoring in original adult development theory, more specific the Gravesian Emergent Cyclical Levels of Existence theory. It reports on the acceptance and rejection of various thinking structures or codes as it dynamically inform unique questions of existence and the corresponding thinking structures and coping mechanisms in the brain. The assessment results is personally interpreted by a certified practitioner. In a world where change is constant, describing adaptive intelligence become critical. An unique lens is added by incorporating the insights of Loraine E Laubscher in her life’s work as reconceptualising PURPLE and later BEIGE. Therefore, an unique emerging economy lens is added.
